The return
Volver (Spanish: [bolˈβeɾ], meaning "to return") is an experimental scene
standing for the reflection of oneself and the beginning of something new.
It is a personal project to explore the expansion of a flat two-dimensional illustration
into a story told in a three-dimensional space.

Process insights
All started with a picture in mind and a fairly simple greyscale illustration. I then brought some texture in and
coloured the illustration with shades of a moody green.
From there I transformed the flat image into 3D space and developed an animated piece around it.

The idea is to maintain the flat look for the first moment and reveal spatiality through the camera movement.
