The main attempt was to create packaging whose production is possible with a small amount of material and minimalized cut-offs. The base form is a hexagonal shape which protects the egg and the  4 cuts on the two facing sides prevent the eggs from falling down. The prototype was created to contain larger eggs, but because of the 4 cuts, it can be used for smaller sizes. Glue is needed for the top pieces. The half cut on the bottom and top of the shape allow for multiple amounts of hexagonal holders to be added, so it can be divided into parts in order to allow customers to take the amount of eggs they require. If the package is hanging, the weight of the eggs streches the hexagonal shape made from brown cardboard, and it holds the eggs more securely. When not in use, the Suspend-EGG can easily be folded and stored to save space.
