Safeguarding Justice was the theme for Vera’s 12th annual gala. During this year the organization pivoted is efforts toward immigration reform and the rights of people and children going through legal proceedings. Safeguarding Justice seemed like a fitting slogan for a year where the many vulnerable people was threaten by policies and changes in the system and Vera worked with local government and advocates to safeguard the rights, dignity and justice of all.
As the lead designer, I implemented the brand elements in a way that best represented Vera’s spearheading effort to not only be a thought-leadership organization but to be active and forward thinking when it came to implementing changes in the immigration and legal system that is fair for and just. I designed the gala’s invitations and postcards, agenda, screens designs, podium designs, and posters.
