Cocido:
A series of comics completed in 2017. I illustrated different times during my life that I felt impacted me, and exemplified the multifaceted layers of my mother, of her history and character, while also showing it’s influence on me growing up.
I also wanted to focused on how I accumulated my own understanding of Paraguayan and Latino culture, being the child of an immigrant and living in the US.
