When you're feeling a bit glum, sometimes you just have to keep your head up and have hope. I wanted to create a work with a muted palette and challenge myself to create something with minimal detail while still being legible.
These were other ideas I had for the piece but ultimately rejected them as the heart and flowers filled the space better and communicated the meaning behind the piece more effectively:
