This is a poster for the Graphic Design Exhibition held by the Department of Design Informatics, Musashino Art University. When it comes to graphic design, paper is always a major platform for ideas. Therefore, I created plain white paper and paper in various colors with icons related to graphic design on, in order to represent the essence of graphic design. The white paper form a shape of Katakana “グ (Gu) ” or Hiragana “ぐ (Gu) ”, the initial of “Graphic” in Japanese.
这张是由武藏野美术大学的设计信息学学科所办的平面设计展览的海报。在平面设计中由于经常需要和纸打交道，我便以此作为主题，用几张印有平面设计相关图标的彩纸和仍是空白状态的白纸予以表现。白纸叠卷起来，既有点像片假名“グ (Gu) ”，也有点像平假名“ぐ (Gu) ”，而它们都是在日语中“平面设计”的第一个字。
武蔵野美術大学デザイン情報学科の主催で開かれたグラフィックデザイン授業展示のポスターです。グラフィックデザインでは紙との付き合いが多いので、それをモチーフとし、グラフィックデザイン関係のアイコンがプリントされたカラーペーパー数枚と、無地の白い紙で表現しました。白い紙は「グ」にも見えたり「ぐ」にも見えたりするようになっており、「グラフィック」の頭文字を表しています。
I also created a set of icons for graphic-design-related tools and concepts, in which the letters of “GRAPHIC DESIGN” are mingled with.
我制作了一套与平面设计相关的工具和概念的图标。同时“GRAPHIC DESIGN”的字母也藏于其中。
今回の制作で作ったグラフィックデザイン関係のツールやコンセプトのアイコンセットです。「GRAPHIC DESIGN」のアルファベットもこの中に紛れています。
I believe the poster looks colorful, but in a peaceful way.
虽然这张海报看上去五彩缤纷，但同时也给人一种安稳平和的感觉。
カラフルな配色ではありますが、どこかしっとりしているのではないかと思います。
