Driftwood Artifacts

Driftwood Estate is a family - owned boutique winery, located in the heart of
Margaret River. The vineyard is a stones~throw from the Indian Ocean so experiences
a mild maritime climate. Its proximity to the nearby coastline is highlighted by
featuring the the ‘found, the salvaged and the treasured’.

The ‘Artifacts’ labels feature time-weathered found items - forensically photographed as
an art collection curated from over 4,000 collected objects - becoming a still life
wrought by sea and sand into objects of beauty.

The wine labels present constrained aesthetics appropriate to convey gravitas and wine credibility, while the branding graphics regarding 'the place as a destination' present a more energetic, contemporary face with the typography mirroring the object arrangements.
The brand created is one that could apply to various items of merchandise from small to large items, expanding the 'craft' and beachcomber theme from wine through to comestibles,
wearables and home products.

The Driftwood premium ‘Single Site’ wines features the artform of one singular
ocean-weathered piece of wood as the hero imagery.
