2017’s Gimli Film Festival is an award-winning homage to Andy Warhol, "The Gimli Girl.”

Gimli Film Festival is the largest of its kind in Manitoba, Canada. I had the pleasure of creating the theme for their 2017 festival. One of the highlight attractions to the festival is the large screen set up in the water, in front of the beach. Thousands come out with towels, lawn chairs and blankets to watch the sunset screening. The goal for 2017 was to increase the amount of younger viewers attending the festival.

The theme was created to target young adults and highlighting the sunset screening. Four different versions of the poster were created to promote the festival as well as a festival program, social media posts merchandise and more!
