Manta is a Hungarian swimwear brand that sells products for both everyday and professional swimming use. Their latest in-house technologies enable the human body for advanced hydrodynamic use. The task was to create a visual language for their new, limited edition apparel that felt contemporary and playful while also keep the brand’s high-end technology character in perspective.
The identity system is inspired by water motifs. It’s made up of different forms and colours to represent the different aspects of the water-living lifestyle that includes swimming, sailing, fishing. The pattern is built from abstract and geometric shapes, making a feeling of a coherent eco-system. These forms can be pulled apart and get rearranged to create new and individual graphic elements. The colour palette is bright, modern and playful, it provides a variety of colourful compositions.
