Embroidered Typographic Specimen

In November of last year while I was in Buenos Aires, I visited the Sudtipos Foundry, I spent an afternoon watching wonderful books from his Library. Almost at the end of the afternoon, Ale Paul placed in my hands a small book that when I opened it I knew immediately that I had to carry out an experiment with all that inspiration, that's how this project was born that has been in preparation for some time and I still have a lot to do.

Embroidered Typographic Specimen was presented in Paris in February 2019 at the Ecole Intuit Lab - Ecole de design & communication visuelle, where I gave a talk and a workshop on modular typography in processing focused on the development of a poster for the Biennial of the Bolivian Poster 2019 under the category, The era of disinformation.

Dingbat

It was established 5 styles of modules that can be used by layers, as well as 3 variants of shapes: squares, circles and crosses.

ColorFont: Embroidered + Brownstone Slab

I requested the permission of Sudtipos to use the Brownstone Slab font I had acquired last year to give it the pixelated style and add it to the dingbat to shape a ColorFont.

I made a initial letter application with one of the authors that marked my childhood.

Animation made for social networks to inform about the talk and the workshop in Paris.
