To every single Vietnamese, Tet is not just a sacred thing but it is also the time when all members of the family gather together. Besides the familiar traditions like chung cake, peach blossom, and apricot blossom, TET harbors Vietnam’s long lasting, special culture and lifestyle. Through thousand of years, those values is still and will be maintained. As a CS sophomore of Post Telecommunications Insitute of Technology with an eye of art, I decided to start my own project - "Tet2019" as a way to impart those values to everyone. . Stay tunned!
So far, parallel has become an irreplacable part of traditional Tet in VN. Parallel is considered to be a symbol of wisedom and artistic wordplay. It consists of not only wishes and prays for a new year but also long deep traditions of Vietnamese people.

During the very first days of the new year, by reading the endearing parallel, we become more aware of the sustainable beauty of Tet. Behind all the specialities that go along with this traditional holiday: Chung cake, pickled mustard and firework is the agricultural foundation dating back thousand of years.By no means do those specialties represent Tet alone, however they are what make the way Vietnamese people celebrate this holiday so special.
