JAPANESE DOLLS / exhibition

The exhibition presented the most interesting examples of traditional Japanese dolls from the private collection of the Doll Museum in Pilzno. The exhibition was conventionally divided into four thematic zones, while maintaining the openness of space. The basic element of the exhibition design, referring to the aesthetics of Japan, was wood and fabric, which at the same time acted as an information carrier. A distinctive part of the project were also transparent circles assembled to displays, being both an element of complementing the graphic composition, as well as securing valuable exhibit objects. The choice of colors and streamlined forms of the graphic composition have given the stage design a light and minimal character.
