An installation that harvests information from the people who visit it, just like a website collects our data. This project addresses the ever increasing risk people are exposed to on the internet. The aim is to analyze the amount of data each one of us is willing to give away. Some of it without consent.
Phase 01 – booth
1. Attract people to a booth
2. Ask the participants a simple question
3. The answers are encrypted to sounds to ensure the information is safe
4. When submitting the answer a photo will be taken unknowingly
5. The intervener is then directed to a new space
Phase 02 – Installation
In this space we call the "server", the participants are confronted with both their encrypted answer and the unwanted photo. It's a compilation of the data collected from all the profiles who participated in this project: a wall of stolen data. We created a fictional security company "MLM" to ensure the data was secure making the installation even more contradictory.
