The Fabric Project
Consists of:
- four rectangular pieces of double-sided fabric with a regular grid of holes;
- some independent double buttons;
- some straps.

Gives so much freedom of creation.

You can make truly wonderful garments, play or improvise with it. Consistent, firm thing, all soft, all natural cotton. A perfect toy.

Because - the simpler the object, the more space there is for imagination!
Simpicity is a beginning.

You can build some combinations using just one piece of fabric, many of them using two, some others using three or four pieces. The straps can be very helpful too. Folding and shaping the clothing resembles sometimes the art of origami. Once you fold it right, you can make it stay by buttoning the fabric together.

There are different ways to sustainability. This project follows them all. Not only is it a zero-waste, made of natural materials and recyclable object, but also the one that enhances better habits of consumption. It lasts long and doesn’t get boring, since it changes forever. It’s made for getting attached to it; for providing experiences, which make it meaningful. And important things last long - no need to throw them out.
There’s a real power in being the creator - it makes us feel exceptional. It nourishes the imagination… The freedom when there are no patterns to follow is easy to discover with this project.

And even if you do follow the pattern - still you’re wearing something you’ve made yourself.

The Fabric Project is not just about fashion.

Imagine the world, where the creativity is a currency for obtaining clothes...
and experiences.

All in all, having all these unusual pieces of fabric does tickle imagination… Some spontaneous performances may occur, some unusual interactions may happen.
Ready?
Play!
This project is on the way! I want to develop it further, i'm currently seeking for a team. If you think it'd be awesome to work on something like this, message me ;)
