It was requested to recreate one of the movie's characters as a costume for a dancing performer.

The character was the Tattoo Man,casted by Shannon Holtzapffel.

After research, we went deeper in the character's origins, founding some original images of the character itself. 

Based on that, we started to look for some patterns that could be formed to better represent the essence of Captain Costentenus' tattoo design and his redesign/adaptation for the movie as well.

After choosing some of the tattoos, we started to create the pattern.The process was all hand made, using tule as a second skin, fabric ink and a variety os brushes to make all the drawings.

The process took 4 days, since we were taking no breaks at all, but it was all worthy (the request were made a week before, but since there was the drying time it was kind of a rush)

Only Hermes were having a nap time :D

After making all the tattoos, a tailor made some of the final touches, then it was delivered to the client.

It was a nice project to be part of, and one of my proudest recreations as a fashion lover.Costumes are also a way to show some fashion style, and this project was a perfect challenge to put my skills to the test.
