Packaging Color Theory

Color Theory + User Experience | Individual | Fall 2018

An exploration of color and its effect on user experience. I was creating a complete package identity for a skin lotion that featured honey as a prominent ingredient, and I was limited to simply color and form (no text) in order to communicate the mission and experience the company wanted to portray to the users. Instead of creating just one or two designs, I decided to map out parameters for variation: this is a new design concept I've been exploring that plans out how much a certain visual elements can vary, but then leaves some of the design up to the client. This way, there can be variation in individual products or between product lines.
