Karabo Makenna and myself took it on ourselves to come up with a design for the Woodstock exchange centre in Woodstock Cape Town, the brief required you to design a unit that can be used by all the visitors to the centre as a place where they can meet and have small meetings before they move on, this is the result:

 

Taking into consideration what is trending in Woodstock at the moment the “thinkpod” includes bike parking, reused skateboards as seats and some urban gardening for the green fingered thinkers out there roaming the Woodstock streets. It includes a working space for the solitary artist, a slide out table top surface to entice some group work for meeting of the minds. With bold visual display and stating this “thinkpod” was designed for Woodstock it will undoubtedly remind all visitors to the WEX centre that they are indeed in Woodstock. Working as one unit or two separate units the “thinkpod” is mobile and is easy to move around the space it is in making it a diverse product that will enrich the space it inhabits
