The challenge was that we received a brief
Can be summarized in "how the restaurant appears at first sight to be a Turkish restaurant, neither Arabic nor Western."

Which made us knock two doors to reach the right direction..  
First one is how to see into the Turkish culture, but unfortunately it was so modern and similar to the western culture!  
so we decided to go through back to the old Turkish culture, which drove us the paintings and ornaments . 
This was more logical, but it brought us to another challenge; as there is an ornament in Andalusian culture too, so we are going far from the Turkish touch that we aspire to. 

After a brainstorming and more search We discovered that The difference between the Turkish and Andalusian ornaments is that the Turkish is based on plant paintings but the Andalusian is based on the geometric shapes.

And from here we launched!  

We used this plant paintings and ornaments first in creating the logo by highlighting the letter S in şaşlık and merge the letter with the 
ornaments to keep the right pronounce. 
Then we used it in the whole pattern.
