The Brief
This years ISTD, student brief offered students to brand and promote a Circus Museum which required a brand Identity and Promotional Museum Publication. The brief was completely open to any area of the circus and I decided to based my project on the weird and wonderful world of The flea Circus.
Concept: I wanted to show how the natural behavior of the fleas is curbed within the materialist use of the type. This is represented within the confines of a rectangular shape taken from the dimensions of a matchbox, (the traditional housing associated with keeping fleas). Over the duration of the spreads the 'fleas' become more and more constricted and eventually die to be 'puppet-ed through their circus routines'.
