My entry for the Spoonflower design challenge "Animals by Land". The pattern was supposed to go into the "Endangered Species" challenge but I managed to muck up the upload.
The Iberian Lynx is the world's most endangered cat. In 2002 there were less than 100 cats left in the Mediterranean forests of Spain. But the intense effort to prevent the Iberian Lynx's extinction was successful - the 2015 census showed 404 adults and 53 cubs were born in that year. But experts warn extinction is still a possibility.
