Cuando se me encargó la creación de un contenedor para líquidos (salsas, dips, etc.), la primera imagen que me vino a la mente fue la de dos manos tratando de capturar agua. Desde mi punto de vista es uno de los gestos humanos más básicos y universales. Transformar esta expresión a un objeto tangible se convirtió en un reto tanto estilístico como técnico.
Los recipientes tienen una dimensión aproximada de 11.5cm x 10.5cm x 5.5cm con una capacidad de 300ml.

When commissioned with the creation of a liquids container, the first image that came to my mind was that of two hands cupped in an attempt to capture water. It is one of the most basic and universal human gestures. Transforming this expression into a tangible object proved to be both a stylistic and technical challenge.
The bowls are approximately 4 1/2" x 4" x 2 1/8" and have a capacity of 10oz.

The bowls were enameled in red, white and black.
From the clay model this mold was created to cast a plaster matrix.
The manufacturing process required the creation of a plaster matrix from which the main mold was cast.
This image showa the actual mold from wchich all pieces were cast with a raw cast piece.
