John Klein leverages decades of executive-level experience in the American pharmaceutical sector to his role as chairman of Cambridge Therapeutics, a Teaneck, New Jersey, firm he established in 2011. In addition to his responsibilities with Cambridge Therapeutics, John Klein is a member of the board of trustees of Hackensack Meridian Health Hospitals.

At the beginning of 2019, the healthcare system’s associated Hackensack University Medical Center received six Women’s Choice Awards. These awards honored the nonprofit teaching hospital’s quality of care in cancer, cardiology, breast health, obstetrics, orthopedics, and bariatrics.

As one among only 10 out of nearly 70 New Jersey hospitals to receive more than four Women’s Choice Awards, Hackensack University Medical Center finds itself in the top tier among “America’s Best Hospitals.” The criteria for selection are based on significant achievement in both patient care and clinical contributions.

The Women’s Choice Awards in general are designed to help women make more informed decisions on healthcare, wellness, and lifestyle purchases. Because women are responsible for about nine-tenths of all healthcare decisions that affect their families, they have a vital need to be empowered with sound information.

Tens of thousands of survey participants offer their insights to the Women’s Choice Award team, with the awards representing the nation’s most recognized list specifically aimed at assisting women in simplifying their healthcare decision-making process.
