Miquel Orovio is a Barcelona-based brand copywriter providing services to individuals, organizations, and companies. Miquel's methodology revolves around critical thinking, brand narrative, and creative direction, with the goal of assisting brands in crafting communications that are both meaningful and enduring.

Drawing inspiration from Miquel's mantra—'Think like an agency, work as a studio, and be like a rolling stone'—we collaborated with him to develop a modular identity centered around words, letters, and signs. Building upon this concept, we delved deeper into Miquel's passion and the essence of his work: writing. The use of repetitions forms the core of our visual system; strategically changing, removing, or altering some words, letters, or signs, we aimed to mimic Miquel's approach of playing with meanings within a defined space.
In terms of color palette, white paper and black text serve as the primary elements, referencing the fundamentals of writing. Inspired by an old notebook cover mentioned by Miquel, the addition of burgundy red brings depth and sophistication to the composition. To further enhance the tactile experience, we replaced the original cream white that Miquel was using with raw kraft paper, complementing the overall aesthetic.

The visual identity we've created authentically reflects Miquel's mantra and his deep passion for writing, offering a cohesive and engaging brand representation with a distinctive touch of personality.
