“Mondrian’s” is a wooden cubic structure of 250x250 cm, designed to promote
interaction among people. There are different ways to use “Mondrian’s”:
by sitting at two different levels, forward or backward facing, laying or standing.
“Mondrian’s” is a casual and playful meeting point
and it can be disassembled and moved with ease.
The Rietveld’s knot characterizes the structure, it is used both as a joint
and decorative element. A particular texture is made by the entanglement
of wooden sticks in different directions and its shape reminds of a Mondrian’s work
(Composition 10 in black and white).
