The ninth issue of the OzShot publication's core focus was isolation, our team developed a list of some of the most isolated locations around the world. Whether that be the snow filled peaks of Iceland, the urban jungle of Chicago, the endless mountains of Tajikistan or

Cover Inspiration
Clean, minimalistic and beautiful design has always been at the core of OzShot's branding. Cover inspiration was collected at the end of Issue .08 - focusing on strong branding, key imagery
and minimal text.

Cover Variations
The core focus of Issue .09 was isolation, so a front cover that invoked isolation, desolation and adventure was fundamental to conveying this focus. The location and setting of the image had to be as remote as possible, for example Iceland, Nepal, or the Arctic.
Final Cover Design
Showcasing a sense of community whilst isolated in the peaks of Nepal, the front cover of Issue .09 embraces the underlying theme of this issue. Listing the region's covered in Issue .09 at the top and bottom - allow for the reader to have a rough idea of what they're about to read.
Running Order of Issue .09
The "Running Order" is the most important aspect of every OzShot magazine, excluding the actual content. This running order, enables the team to stay on track, whilst following an extremely carefully planned order that enables for seamless transitions between each core article.

Internal Layout Inspiration
The core challenge faced when creating an OzShot publication, is the fact that every piece of content is community submitted, thus meaning the layouts need to have the ability to credit individual photos whilst not losing harmony on each page.
Final Internal Layouts
Throughout Issue .09 there was only 5 core page layouts, allowing for continuity through out the magazine. The various layouts included photo only layouts, editorial layouts, and unique layouts dependant on the content.
