The legend of Dorikin (aka japanese driver and Drift father Keiichi Tsuchiya ) is something that I’m sure a lot of us were introduced to in a similar manner, via a grainy DVD or video download of questionable legality. These were the days pre-YouTube and file sharing was often a physical activity where you swapped discs with your friends. Well, at least where I grew up. I think that we still had a 56k dial-up connection when I first saw the man with red gloves show us the otherway to drive a car before i could ever own one. ( i still don't )

These DVD introduced me of the world of the japanese sports cars way before the fast and furious franchise did with the whole world.

It was the birth of the Nissan skyline, Toyota supras, Honda NSX reign.

After the launch of the facelifted NSX-R, Honda developed a more agile, more responsive, and quicker limited edition NSX-R called the NSX-R GT. The NSX-R GT was created by Honda solely to comply with the Super GT production-based race car homologation requirements. As JGTC rules required at least five production cars for any race car version to compete, as a result the NSX-R GT was limited to a production run of only five cars.

It Gave Birth to the GT500 Spec Honda NSX 

Honda also set a record of ten consecutive GT500 pole positions from 1997-1999, and eight consecutive fastest race laps from 1998-99. They were also the last manufacturer, and the second ever, to win pole and take fastest lap in every round of a season (after McLaren in 1996).

This NSX R GT is the precious sister.

But what about my love for japan? 

i HAD to join the two of them.

And i had the perfect chance.

After my first entry for the Automotive CGI challenge on facebook with my render of the Porsche GT2RS which placed 3rd.
 i entered the Next one which was a Japanese battle between the Honda NSX and the Nissan 300zx
