Kriloudi Law Firm refers to a Brooklyn based law firm specializing in cybercrime law. Founded by Marina Kriloudi, and focused on legal issues related to the acceptable use of technology, the firm is committed to protect users from harm by providing legal advice and enabling the investigation and prosecution of online criminal activity. The brand design seeks to create a feeling of loyalty and trust between the client and the attorney, so the logo is based on two powerful symbols. On the one hand, a representation of the scales of justice, and on the other, the angle brackets extensively used in HTML, a markup language aiming to structure web pages’ and applications’ content while staying invisible to the user. Thus, the branding process points out the link between the ancient concept of justice and the contemporary coding practice, connoting the urgency of satisfying the newly-raised technology-related legal needs. For the brand’s identity we chose a color palette combining shades of rusty marron with salmon to showcase the firm’s prestige while adding a touch of freshness. We decided the repetition of the graphic solutions on various branding elements such as business cards and stationery, and to the website design as well so as to create a cohesive look across all channels.
