I created this image a few weeks ago whilst inSan Francisco.  I was inspired by seeing Will Pearson’s project of London!  Twin Peaks was the perfect location!

The image has been created with over 500 high re images stitched together to create a pano of about 8.7 giga pixels!  Trust me, its big!

If printed at 300dpi. the preferred resolution for high quality images, it would 72ft long!
So dont forget to zoom right into the image! There is a special prize (an autographed poster of me)  if you can find the scooby doo mystery machine!  But what else can you find?

These images are always a good crowd pleaser! Very few people can do a really good job of something like this as it takes planning and experience to make it work! As well as the technical know how and sharp equipment.

If you would like an image like this, you can use it as a treasure hunt, or perhaps for tourism.  Additionally, you can add hyperlinks to find more information.  For instance, information about the port or certain buildings and advertising for businesses.  You can add different media files from just text, to sound and video for a truly wow factor interactive experience.

Unfortunately I don’t know enough about San Francisco to give a full demonstration…  This version also has bing maps with a radar so you can visualise another way and the ability to send an e card with an image via email or Facebook!  The icons are on the bottom left!
