The Challenge 
In a category overrun by ads that over promise cigars with lofty copy and clichéd imagery,
Camacho Cigars needed to create awareness for its free cigar trial offer and drive registration
among 30-50 year old cigar smoker.

The Solution
Camacho Cigars’ “Get Real” campaign called out other cigar advertising with satirical print ads that told
them to “Get Real” challenged cigar smokers to ignore hype and judge a free Camacho for themselves


The Results
The campaign helped generate over 44,000 sign-ups, quadrupling the company’s original goal,
and drove new fans to the company’s Facebook page.
