When the state of Michigan introduced a series of film credits and incentives Michigan Music For Film was formed to help Michgan artists take advantage of these new opportunities. They asked me to develop a Flash/FLEX interface that would allow users to browse a catalog of Michigan music sorted by genres and styles. Songs could be added to a like box and then shared and requested. This required building a custom content manager and database structure. The site was set to expand with new features and an HTML5 version when the film credits were pulled but the recent activity has people thinking about movies in Michigan again so I hope this site will continue to grow.
