The Pull on Stay on Mini Shoes are designed by award winning footwear designer, Catherine Lobley. Poco Nido is a Sheffield based Brand with a love for Pattern and Colour.
An exceptional series to work on, blending Natural History with the Mini Shoes to bring colourful, eye-catching patterns to the youngest members of your family.
I experimented with shading techniques that work with the screen printing process.
All repeat patterns are created with a TCX Pantone colour scheme in mind.
Each pattern is carefully considered for screen printing while creating moodboards, whether they are to be hand-drawn or digital, they must be layered to fit the silk screen.
Each season at Poco Nido offers the chance to develop new techniques for screen printing and with it comes some interesting outcomes. Especially with depth and shading.
