Poster design for History of Graphic Design in the Arab World class designed in homage to Mahmoud Abdallah and inspired by his work. Mahmoud Abdallah was born in Alexandria in 1936. He graduated from the faculty of Fine Arts specializing in carving and printing. His most famous design is the current logo of the Cairo Opera House. He also designed the first poster for Cairo International Fine Arts Biennale. Mahmoud Abdallah was known for his use of lines, patterns and pastel colors.
