The idea behind this layout is that it is a small kitchen in an old run down apartment where a lower class single mother and her child live. I also went with a bit of a bohemian vibe for to show some of the mothers personal taste in decor. 

This Dutch barber shop was inspired by my grandparents decor. My grandfather was a woodworker and had several Holland inspired pieces around the house. Mainly windmills but  they also had tulip patterns as well as dutch artwork and photos that lined the walls.

This science lab meant for studying alien life was hand drawn on multiple layers using paper and a light board. My perspective did get a bit distorted because of my perspective line placements but I did learn quite a bit about drawing on different layers to set up a layout for animation.

This is more of a very rough, quick concept design of a tomb from ancient Egypt. It was for a game design project called Bastet.
