The task was to redesign the cover and the spreads for Bolig Magasinet, which is a Scandinavian publishing about interior design, trends and lifestyle. Many magazines are often stuffed with lots of information, therefore I wanted to make a clear layout with focus on making the articles intriguing.
Bolig Magasinet is a semi exclusive magazine, therefore the target group is women with interest in the newest trends, who is willing/wants to pay for it. The design is of course inspired by Scandinavian style with a clear feminine vibe.
I designed an editorial layout, where white space and typography are balanced in order to play with composition in a simple, creative way. The use and positioning of photos and text blocks makes the design easy and more interesting to read.
