As the music progress the download festival evolves and from an only pure metal festival now it has more acts from different genres and decades.

With that concept the typography evolved from the basic black letter typefaces, that was manly used by metal, to a more modern font with the name written in a custom black letter font more stylized and  modern that can represent all the musician.

This version was based on the goat skull one of the most recognised metal symbols
