The Animation Theatere is a Poznań-based cultural institution that has been using the puppet tradition since 1945. In 2017, along with the change of the Director, a new vision of theater promotion appeared that required a different approach to visual communication than before.
The refreshed image confirms these changes, and opens the institution to the older viewer. The expressive presence in the urban space and the characteristic, consistent visual language build the message that the puppet theater can be an interesting, modern and ambitious cultural offer not only for the youngest children, but also for young people and adults.
The starting point was to redesign the graphic sign and place it on the grid, giving a modern look by eliminating rounded edges and changing the typeface. In addition, a completely new visual identity has been developed, including: selection of typography, colors, as well as basic promotional materials and prints dedicated to promote premiere performances.

W 2017 roku, wraz ze zmianą dyrektora pojawiła się nowa wizja promocji teatru, wymagająca innego niż dotychczas podejścia do komunikacji wizualnej.
Odświeżony wizerunek potwierdza zmiany repertuarowe, a także otwarcie instytucji na starszego widza. Wyrazista obecność w przestrzeni miejskiej i charakterystyczny, spójny język wizualny budują przekaz, że teatr lalkowy może stanowić ciekawą, nowoczesną i ambitną propozycję kulturalną nie tylko dla najmłodszych widzów, ale również dla młodzieży i dorosłych.
Punktem wyjścia było uporządkowanie znaku graficznego m.in. oparcie na siatce, nadanie nowoczesnego wyglądu poprzez zlikwidowanie zaokrągleń oraz zmianę kroju pisma. Dodatkowo opracowano zupełnie nową identyfikację wizualną, obejmującą: dobór typografii, kolorystyki, a także zaprojektowanie podstawowych materiałów promocyjnych oraz tych dedykowanych spektaklom premierowym.
