I enjoy the process of creating new artwork and designing printed textiles. I also enjoy making hand-made items such as greeting cards. I often combine the two activities resulting in hand-made cards with my own artwork on them. In the last few days I have been very busy making cards for my customers. I launched a new design and it is selling well online. The design on the cards is a tribute to the music legend called Prince. The title of the artwork is Paisley Prince Song Book. I drew the design on paper first and then completed the design using Photoshop. I have included many references to Prince's songs in the artwork including purple rain, paisley symbols, crying doves and peace signs. I have included images of guitars and tambourines in the art work. Prince wrote a song called Guitar and another song called Tambourine. In the last few days new customers in Staffordshire, Kansas, Minnesota, The Netherlands and Seattle have all bought these new unique hand-made Prince tribute greeting cards.
