I had the opportunity in 2018 to create a variety of marketing materials as well as help establish brand guidelines for the tech company Cloud Academy out of San Francisco and Switzerland. The most memorable design was their booth for the AWS London event.
The booth was to be three large panels as well as a smaller desk with the logo. The existing look they had gone with in the past was a small rocket (right panel) so I played off that for the overall design and added custom illustrations to complete the look. The booth set-up came with a round glass door window, so I turned that into a window for the rocket.
The challenge was to keep the look clean, eye-catching and minimal yet also fit all of the needed content including space for the television and several sponsor logos.
All of the panels except for the rocket door were backlit fabric so they created a great glow with the gradient.
