The Sakura Identities 🌸
Sakura is the Japanese word for cherry blossom and I named this collection of illustrations Sakura Identities. This work is all about my exploration of various styles of girls. The drawings are pop, colourful and just like the cherry tree blossoms announce the arrival of spring, they too are manifesting various aspects of the powerful female identity. The Sakura Identities is an ongoing project that is always interesting to me so I keep adding pieces. The first Sakura girl that is called Sakura was released in 2014 and they are all limited edition high quality (giclee) prints (42cm x 59,4cm) of 100 copies each.
