Etna - chaise longue

Etna is a concept aimed to deconstruct the idea of the chaise longue, both on a structural level (rest surface, contact with the ground), and on a symbolic level (as a reflection of the role of the ancient Roman cities that influenced Louis XVI style). It is intended as a limited series product.
Etna's structure is made of 3 main parts: A reinforced concrete dome, injected polycarbonate columns with chromed steel tube cores, and a cushion surface of integral skin polyurethane, wich in its surface has a damask - like embossed pattern.
