PCIM is a Lisbon based company that focus its activities on providing services of advertising, communication and public relations.
For this project, it was developed the whole identity program for PCIM, as well as the general guidelines of the brand.
PCIM is an acronym composed by four words: Publicidade (advertising), Comunicação (communication), Imagem (image) and Marketing. The idea for the symbol was to create something that brings together these four main areas of PCIM. The symbol of four squares where one of them is elevated seemed to be appropriated to identify a company that aims to communicate and boost new ideas and careers.

It was also developed a detailed manual about PCIM's branding with the main guidelines and considerations about color, typography, grids and applications.
One of the challenges was that the symbol had to work in many sizes and locations. To do so, it needs to be simple enough to keep legibility and consistency. We had to ensure that the simplicity of shape and typography made the logo versatile enough to fit in any communication challenges, from a tiny business card to a huge billboard.
