Industrial Revolution was a significant defining moment in the history which converted the world economy into manufacturing and industry. Keep on reading to know the effects produced by industrial revolution from the following factors.
The Factory System
Cottage industry, autonomous with workers working from hands and using simple machinery was replaced by the factory system. It created a fortune for few of its owners and spread like wildfire. Inventions of machinery gave rise to the factory system.

One of the lasting features of the industrial revolution is urbanization. The rise in industry lead to more opportunities in cities, and the huge population started migrating to industrialized cities seeking opportunities.

Many skilled workers suffered from a decrease in quality of life in the beginning period of industrial revolution. Extensive child labor and poor working conditions are the markers of the industrial revolution.
Increase in Opportunities and Living Standards
Advanced industrial towns created a plethora of jobs like clerks, merchants, shopkeepers, lawyers, doctors, and teachers. Opportunities for interposing also rose up.  Rags to riches stories inspired many people towards hard work.
Technological Advancements
