Deep Thoughts is a bimonthly animation series made at MediaMonks that explores a different concept each episode through a combined collection of short animations. The series is a passion project pieced together by some (not-so) like-minded animators who sought to escape their comfort zones and visualize their interpretations of the abstract. To give the diverse animations a sense of cohesion, they all revolve around the same concept and use the same seven-color palette. Beyond these rules, animators can dive as deep into their own minds as they please, resulting in an animated explosion that is both bizarre and beautiful. The animations are complemented by a zany soundtrack composed by sound designers.
