Packaging of spice paprika
I have chosen to prepare the packaging of paprika powder grown by my father, Zoltán Döme.
He has been dealing with the production of paprika since his youth and is still doing so with great passion. FROM THE BEGINNING is an integral part of most of the year - we are talking about the period from March to October - and there are decisive family programs in these months.
The time spent together, the memories have a great impact on me, and I think that once we do not continue the tradition of this agricultural production, we will inherit it in some form.
My father is a modest man, so I stayed with the simple typographic elements. My goal was to reflect on the kind of puritan that my father represents. As a logo, I used our family name as a small producer, it is not unusual, but with his handwriting, which is typical of him. The element of the packaging is its own signature, which makes the product even more personal.
I made three types of labels, referring to the three different qualities that are related to the capsaicin content of the finished meal. We distinguish sweeter (capsaicin content: 100 mg / kg), special (capsaicin content: 100 to 200 mg / kg) and rose grade (capsaicin content: 200 mg / kg).
