What you can see here on the big sheet is a graphical and informational view on all the radicals of the chinese script system. The radical is the basic component of a chinese character. Nearly every character is built up by several radicals. Here they are, according to the system of chinese dictionaries, listed by the number of strokes they are built of (1-17). Next to each radical you can find a number, which refers to it's name and translated meaning on the second sheet. Variations of certain characters can also be found on the list. For that reason be aware of the fact, that the amount and order of those numbers do not accord with the official list of chinese radicals.
