Smoked fish packaging
A packaging project for the high end products for the smoked fish production company based in Sicily, ''Medimar''. Owners told me the long time history at the back of their family business so they wanted for the packaging something that communicates the tradition and attention to detail. I started with a reinterpretation of Sicilian majolica with fishes as protagonists and spread it all over the pack!
I decided to use an elegant black/white/gold color palette, enriched with some printing ennobles: soft touch paint, embossed UV paint for the all the white areas and text and a debossed shiny gold foil giving the whole packaging a very pleasant touch sensation.
