About Organico
Organico is a multinational company conceptualized and originated in Italy. The company excels in manufacturing limited editions of intricate, handcrafted surface developments used for designing ready to wear garments for men and women. The brand was recently launched in India and needed an identity developed so that its target (upper middle class, premium segment) would notice, remember and connect to it.

About the design: 
 
Since the company deals in organic clothing mainly in natural colours, I decided to use a colour palette comprising of two basic earthy shades of ochre, olive and a neutral shade of black.
 
The logo has been designed keeping in mind the origin and the USP of the company. The typographic element of the logo reads ‘OrganiCo.’ since the company was conceptualized and started in Italy. Organic in italian is spelt as organico. The letter ‘C’ has been used in uppercase and a fullstop has been used after the letter ‘o’ to make it look like the abbreviation of word ‘company’.  
 
The graphic element in the logo has been simplified and derived out of the shape of a lily bud, since lily is the national flower of Italy.
