Multi-purpose Packaging for Jewelry
The three petals derived from the logo come together to form a bud.

The Essence:
Lotus. Blooming. Nurturing. Exquisite. Working on the metaphor of a flower blooming, the experience is built by unveiling the jewelry placed in its core.
The packaging was designed to be multi-purpose and adaptive. The design is an attempt to move away from the concept of a box for each piece of jewelry that further goes into a carry bag. At the time of purchase, it serves the purpose of a jewelry case as well as a carry bag. Once the jewelry has reached its destination it adorns the dresser as a jewelry stand. It is designed to increase its life span beyond its original function, add value to the user, and increase brand visibility.
The outer shell acts as a protective layer that is strung together with a simple to use locking system.
The inner core is held together with an interlocking system designed with the purpose to hold the jewelry secure and to ensure no use of glue. The inner case is held in its place with a tiny drop of glue attaching it to the outer shell at the base, making it the only gumming required for the entire packaging.
A collapsible structure was designed to consume the least amount of space when stored.
