The concept for my surreal self portrait, is me and my life in a comic book. Comic books kept me company all these years and living in the many places around the world. My journey overseas began in Sicily in 1986 and ended in San Diego in 1994. The background images are of Mt Etna, in Sicily, Mt. Fuji in Japan, and finally Sunset Cliffs in San Diego. Each comic book's year of release is the year I was living over seas in those  countries. My journey brought me here to what I'm doing now.
