With great desire I want to present you the project "Crazy Route". The game is a racing arcade in which we have to set all the best records, collecting blueprints of details and creating our own set for each type of track. More fun! Lets Go!
My role: UI/UX Artist, 2D/3D Artist, Art Director
Goal: the full-stack development of the game art
And here I will present to your attention separately some details for a soft-lounge stage of the game.
The presented elements were modeled in the Autodesk Maya and three passes were obtained (color map, ambient occlusion map and material id map). On their basis, the composition is already assembled in Photoshop in such a way that only by controlling the Hue/Saturation filter you can quickly repaint objects, affecting only a certain color.
One of the most important goals was the ability to easily scale the project.
Adobe Photoshop has great features that will help to achieve this. Smart objects, linked objects and artboards. Thanks to them, one of the most important postulates is achieved:
Repeated reuse of ready-made resources and maintaining all design layouts relevant!
